2010 Canadian Flight Games: Press Release


In its 5th year, Christoff Kyere Entertainment is proud to present the 2010 Canadian Flight Games (CFG) on Thursday July 29th, 2010 inside the Ryerson University from 6:00pm-10:00pm. This spectacular event will feature Toronto’s cream of the crop in the sport of high school basketball. The 2010 CFG will be hosted by Shawn “Singlefoot” Singleton, 5 time host of the CFL Grey Cup to add to the excitement. The 2010 CFG will feature skills and drills competitions, T-Dot King of the Rim Slam-Dunk competition and lastly the 2010 rising stars and elite senior High School All-star basketball games. Since its conception the CFG has been dedicated to empowering youth to succeed in all areas of their lives and will use this event as a platform to educate and entertain the masses. On that note we will be honoring Brandon Bos from Markham High school with the CFG: Student-Athlete Award that recognizes excellence both on and off the court. Additionally the 2010 Canadian Flight Games has been NCAA Sanction to provide scholarship opportunities to all participants involved in this year’s event.

The 2010 Canadian Flight Games event will serve as both a fundraiser and a food drive for Toronto’s Covenant House. Tickets are reasonably priced at $10.00 with a canned food item and $12.00 without, youth (10 & under) will be charged $5.00 and $7.00 respectively. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door on a first come first serve basis.

Spectators of the 2010 Canadian Flight Games can expect to witness an action packed event. The T-Dot King of the Rim Slam-dunk competition will feature Toronto best high school athletes for an entertaining and creative event. Come and witness Canada’s future in basketball as the highest profile high school basketball athletes compete in one gym and showcase basketball excellence. In closing we are extremely happy to be in our 5th year of existence and we would love to have your support in making this year’s event extra special.
